Paid to Surf
Do you remember the days of Paid-To-Surf companies, like Spedia and AllAdvantage, before the dot-com crash of 2000? Well, I do and I'm searching for present-day incarnations of them. These companies basically provide users with a view bar that displays advertisements in a narrow application window that could be docked to the top or bottom of the user's screen. Often, they target those advertisements to the content being viewed by the user as they browse websites. In return, ad bar users are paid a portion of the advertising revenue generated by their online viewing habits. Presently, I've only located a single company that offers an ad view bar. I'll continue searching and update when -or if- I locate more.
Cash Fiesta
Cash Fiesta is a Paid-To-Surf company that was started in 2000 and, judging by the looks of its website design, looks like it's still in 2000. The limited reviews from users are not great with several former users stating that their accounts were cancelled without receiving payment. There are also complaints regarding poor customer support and high payout thresholds ($50). But they seem to be the only game in town.

InboxDollars
Inbox Dollars is not a paid-to-surf company because it doesn't have a surf bar. But on a related note, they do pay users for reading emails. Users are also compensated for taking surveys, playing games, and participating in promotions and contests. The payout threshold is $15.
my current InboxDollars earnings: $8.34
